The ceremony took place at “Duncan Miller’s Hanger” at the Nut Tree Airport, adjacent to the Aeronautics Department in Vacaville, California. The airplane in the background is a “Stearman PT-13” and is airworthy. Duncan Miller keeps a variety of “old war birds” on hand at his hanger which provides the community with a very interesting aircraft museum.
