• OCED 090   OCCUPATIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE

    Description: To qualify for Occupational Work Experience credit, the student must be working at a job directly related to his/her declared college major in an occupational education area major, attend a weekly coordination seminar, develop job oriented objectives and remain currently enrolled in at least seven units of the declared major or general education requirements including Occupation Work Experience. Includes all occupational education certificate and degree programs. A maximum of 4 units per semester may be earned. Course Advisories: SCC minimum English and math standards. NOTE: Students enrolling in the 12-weeks sections will be limited to 1-3 units; and students enrolling in the 8-weeks sections will be limited to 1-2 units. NOTE: Students enrolled in OCED 090 may not enroll in OCED 091 during the same semester
    Repeatability: Repeatable to a maximum of 12 units, including initial enrollment.
    NOTE: Combined units in all Work Experience courses may not exceed 12 units.
