OCED 091 GENERAL WORK EXPERIENCEDescription: To qualify for General Work Experience credit, the student must be working at a job with a licensed business (job does not need to be related to major), attend a weekly coordination seminar, develop job-oriented objectives and remain currently enrolled in at least seven units, including General Work Experience. Includes all occupational education certificate and degree programs. One unit of credit may be earned for each 75 hours paid or 60 hours unpaid work per semester to a maximum of 3 units per semester. Course Advisories: SCC minimum English and math standards. NOTE: Students enrolled in OCED 091 may not enroll in OCED 090 during the same semester.Repeatability: Repeatable to a maximum of 12 units, including initial enrollment. NOTE: Combined units in all Work Experience courses may not exceed 12 units. |
